Weekend Wrap-Up

So here's a quick wrap-up from Saturday's games brought to you by Keystone Light - the cheap Rocky Mountain Cold for cheap.

Clausen, Keenum, and Pike were sitting on their asses on Saturday. What about Tebow, McCoy, and Harris?

Tim Tebow led the Gators to a decent win against #4 LSU 13-3 in Baton Rouge. The Gators dominated the game - 13 points could quite easily have been 20,27, or 30 (2 turnover on downs within the 20 and a missed 25 yard field goal). His line was 11-16 for 134 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT + 38 yards on the ground while playing with the still lingering effects of a concussion suffered two weeks ago.

Colt McCoy lead his team back to victory with special assistance from HIS ROOMMATE! HIS ROOMMATE IS ON THE TEAM! AND HE'S A RECEIVER! WOW!

Anyway, Texas came back after falling behind early to Colorado. McCoy was 32-39 for 265, a touchdown and an INT.

Finally, Jacory Harris refuses to gracefully concede in the Heisman race - going 16-24 with 2 Touchdowns and 2 Passes to the other team for 217 yards.

My rankings:
1. Jimmy Clausen - on bye, but rises like ND did.
1. Tim Tebow - decent game, but still not really putting up numbers.
3. Colt McCoy - you should never be down 14-10 against Colorado if you have this kind of talent. EVER.
4. Tony Pike - I might be starting to believe, let's see how he does against a good USF defense.
5. Case Keenum - system enabled, but still damn fine.

Haha yeah I saw that and I couldn't agree more. Not only did he get Jimmy right but his #2 clearly validates his ability to judge college football players.

I suggest every contributor to this site look at the Heisman ratings on SI.com. I think you will enjoy this.
