This week's Heisman review brought to you by banana costumes, the dream of a year ago finally realized for what could be the greatest Halloween of my college career.
So down to business...
Tebow and McCoy were sitting on their asses watching games. Which is way less than me - at least I went to a game. Actually, Tebow was probably sleeping or eating chicken noodle soup because he has a concussion. Basically, my stats were equal to theirs. So booyah!
Jimmy Clausen had one of the best games of his career in the greatest game I have seen in the last four years of what has mainly been miserable football. Jimmy lead the Irish to a lead-taking fourth quarter drive and a game-winning OT touchdown in taking down Washington in the rain with an injured toe. Jacory 'Great Protection' Harris should be on the Trojans - but lead the U to an upset victory of Oklahoma. He threw 3 TDs and 2 INTs leading Miami to - 21-20 win and sneaked back into contention following an atrocious game against Va Tech.
Jahvid Best sucked. 14 carries for 47 yards. That's only 102 yards in the last two games with ZERO TDs. His name shall never be mentioned again.
Finally, Case 'If you can't beat em' Keenum. WOW. He was 51-76. HOLY SHIT. 76 pass attempts. WTF? He also threw five touchdowns. But Houston lost 58-41 to a UTEP team that got demolished by Texas 64-7 just one week before. Aka Houston has no defense, no BCS hopes, and is keeping the flame alive for the Heisman by never running the ball. Good luck.
