How overrated is Mississippi? Coming in at 4/5 AP/USA Today, they may be 2-0, but have faced no serious team (@ Memphis and Southeastern Louisiana). Snead, who many predicted as a Heisman darkhorse, has a TD-INT Ratio of 5-2, again against average at best defenses. They will be chewed up in the meat-grinder that is the SEC and are hardly a Top 25 team, much less Top 5.

Old Miss travels to South Carolina - never an easy game with Spurrier on the opposing sideline - and face Alabama at home just three weeks later. Visits from Arkansas, Tennessee, and LSU also pop up on the schedule.

I see this team losing at least 2, maybe 3 games. And while they may make a bowl - it won't be BCS or as SEC West Champion - I like Alabama in that role.
