Weekend Review

This Weekend Wrap-up brought to you by Samsung phones. Because even though they fall into toilets twice, after two days, they're as good as new...well nearly...anyway, enough about my Halloween weekend, would our Heisman contenders get tricks or treats this weekend?

To the analysis!

Jimmy Clausen had one of his easiest match-ups yet as the #23 Irish played Washington State in San Antonio this past weekend. Despite leaving early and massive rushing days all around, Clausen threw for 268 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an 82% completion percentage (which would have been higher had there not been two drops). His performance was great and highlighted by this beautiful heave.

Tim Tebow lead the #1 Gators to a large win against rival Georgia. Meyer, still clearly angry about the 2007 game. unleashed Tebow. He threw for 164 yards, 2 touchdowns while adding another 2 touchdowns and 85 yards on the ground. He also broke Herschel Walker's SEC Rushing Touchdown record. Good game as Florida continues to roll towards the SEC Title Game.

Colt McCoy led #3 Texas into Stillwater as the Longhorns crushed Oklahoma State 41-14. McCoy however compiled only 171 yards (77% completion) and one touchdown as the Longhorn Defense had an amazing day.

Mark Ingram probably did what I did on Saturday. Dressed up in a costume, watched football, and chilled with his homeboys.

With that being said, I've got move Tebow up in the rankings. Statistically he has his best game of the season against a decent Georgia squad while Clausen continued his excellent season.

1. Tebow
1. Clausen
3. Ingram
4. McCoy
