Colt "45 and 2 zig zags" McCoy

Another game, another win, another high completion percentage and another interception. Colt McCoy has been the model of consistency this year, doing enough for his team to win, and not making the mistake that makes his team lose. While he isn't getting the kind of attention he was last year, he is still putting up good to great numbers and his team keeps winning.

A lot of the problems with Colt's Heisman hype this year is due to the insane numbers he put up last year and the sky high expectations that were set for this team this year. Yet they still haven't lost, and he still hasn't put up a total stinker on par with Tebow. ... Read more

Colt "the real" McCoy

The forgotten man on the forgotten team. While he's not putting up astronomical numbers, his team keeps winning, and while it might be impressive, they're doing enough. People are starting to clamor for his teammate Jordan Shipley to start getting recognition because he's not only doing it as a receiver but also as a punt returner. But there's no question who the leader of this team is and why Texas is still a strong contender for the national title, Colt McCoy. ... Read more

Ndamukong "A Man Named" Suh

I know what you're thinking. How can a DT be considered for the Heisman? Or maybe you're thinking how do you say that name? Well to settle the latter question, you can call him Suh, House of Spears (the meaning of Ndamukong given to him by his father who hails from Cameroon) or you can just call him sir. But now to dealing with the former. ... Read more

Case "If you can't beat UTEP you're done" Keenum

How often does a quarterback have a game in which he completes 67% of his passes, throws for 536 yards, 5 TDs and no INTs and take a huge hit to his chances for the Heisman? It's just one of the joys of playing in Conference USA. ... Read more

Case "If you can't beat him" Keenum

A QB at Houston, putting up ridiculous numbers, playing in a wide open offense and winning the Heisman. Sound familiar? Well this isn't Andre Ware, but Case Keenum is trying to accomplish the same goals Andre did 20 years ago. ... Read more

Colt McCoy

Another game, another convincing victory. While Texas has only played one team likely to make a bowl (Texas Tech) they continue to roll. And while Colt McCoy isn't racking up the TDs, his team is lighting up the scoreboard. ... Read more

Jacory Harris

Well Jacory and Miami got a shot at a third straight ranked team as they traveled to Blacksburg to face Virginia Tech this past weekend. What started as a potential boost into the top 5 not only hurt Jacory in the Heisman but set back the inevitable return of the U. ... Read more

Colt "Golden Boy" McCoy

Not only does Colt have the name to be a Texas QB, he has the game to go with it. With many people calling Colt the odd man out of the Big 3 (Bradford, McCoy, Tebow) coming into the season, he was seen as the frontrunner almost by default. It’s his turn. While Colt hasn’t put up dazzling numbers thus far this season (859 passing yards, 68.1% completion percentage, 6 TDs, 4 INTs), his team has put up 3 wins. ... Read more

Jacory "Mr. Smooth" Harris

His game makes it look like he’s not even trying. His numbers tell a different story. The resurgence of the U this year and potential return to prominence has been one of the biggest stories of this young season. And much of this success including back to back victories over ranked teams (Florida State and Georgia Tech) is attributed to the brilliant play of sophomore QB Jacory Harris. ... Read more
